Who can vote?

You have the right to vote if you meet the following requirements:  

• Norwegian citizenship and,
• have reached the age of 18 before the end of 2025
• are, or have been, registered in the national population register as a resident of Norway 

Identification

When you vote, you must verify your identity by showing identification. The minimum requirements being that it must include name, date of birth, and a picture. 

Early voting

You can vote from the 1st of July until 8th August in any municipality if you are unable to vote during the regular advance voting. In Moss you can only early vote at Kommunetorget. Address:  Dronningensgt. 15, 1530 Moss. Opening hours: Monday - Friday 09.00 - 15.00

Advance voting

You can vote in advance in any municipality from 11th August up until and including 5th September.  

There are four polling stations in Moss, all locations have the same opening hours:

• A temporary polling station outside Moss City Hall
• A temporary polling station outside Kambo center
• A temporary polling station at Rygge shopping center (in the car park behind the center) 
• A temporary polling station at Halmstad (by the Tyrolean house)

We will publish an overview of all the advance polling stations and opening hours as the advance voting period approaches.

Vote from home

If you are ill or disabled, you can apply to vote from home.

You must apply by 4 September 2025. The application must include your name, phone number, address and date of birth.

Election Day 8 September

The election day you have to vote in the municipality you where registrated  in the National Population Register as of 30th June 2025. If you where registrated in the municipality of Moss
you can vote at any polling station you choose in the overview below.

All polling stations are open from 08.00 until 21.00 on 8. November 2025.
